Arsenic, with the chemical symbol As and atomic number 33, belongs to the group of metalloids in the periodic table. It occurs in several allotropic forms, the most common of which is a brittle, crystalline gray metalloid. The other forms include a yellow allotrope and a black amorphous form.
In its elemental form, Arsenic is relatively inert. However, when combined with other elements, it forms various compounds which are often more reactive. Arsenic is typically found in nature combined with sulfur in minerals such as arsenopyrite (FeAsS), realgar (As4S4), and orpiment (As2S3).
At TXRocks, we’re committed to the supply of critical minerals that support and advance various industries across the world.
